Welcome to The Basketball Shooting Academy Fall League section of the GMC Hoops web site. Here you will find out all you need to know about this league, which is in its first year. Based in Edison, the league ran weekly on Sundays for eight weeks from September 9th to October 28th. Many of the teams competing are at the academy, which is a new basketball facility totally devoted to shooting that opened up in August, 2006.
This fall there were ten GMC teams competing out of the 20 overall. The list of teams include non-conference programs such as Trenton, Bridgewater, Elizabeth, Notre Dame, Roselle Catholic, Montgomery, Warren Hills, North Hunterdon, David Brearley of Kenilworth, and Timothy Christian. There were no playoffs in this league, and people running it are looking to expand to 24 teams divided up into two twelve team divisions. For more information, contact Ken Pace or Mike Allocco.
