This was the nightcap of a tripleheader of contests in the 2008 Kowal Games at Rahway High School. Formerly known as the Bernoskie Games, the Kowal Games are played every year for charity. The two combatants: Carteret and undefeated Rahway are very familiar foes to one another. Last season, the Indians from the Mountain Valley Conference and Union County, defeated the Ramblers 67-54 on February 6th. In football though, Carteret got its revenge by defeating Rahway en route to a Central Jersey Group II Championship.
